The short version
The typing test runs entirely in your browser. What you type, your scores and your results never leave your device — we have no database of user typing, no accounts, and nothing to leak. This site earns money from advertising, which is where cookies come in.
Information we do not collect
- Your typed text or practice passages — processed on your device only
- Your typing scores — shown to you in the browser, not saved by us
- Account details — there are no accounts
- Date of birth, phone number, or any identifier
Information handled by third parties
Like most websites, this site is served through hosting and security infrastructure that logs standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for reliability and abuse prevention. Advertising partners (such as Google AdSense) may set cookies to show relevant ads and measure performance. You can control ad personalisation through Google Ad Settings.
Children
This site is safe for school-age users (it is a typing practice tool), collects no personal data from anyone, and contains no age-restricted content.
WhatsApp messaging app
We also operate a messaging application built on the official WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API). It is used by our web-design service to contact businesses about building or improving their website. When the app sends or receives a WhatsApp message, it processes the following data, and nothing more:
- The business phone number a message is sent to or received from
- The message content, so we can reply to an enquiry
- Basic delivery status (sent, delivered, read) reported by WhatsApp
This data is used only to communicate about an enquiry. We do not sell it and do not use it for advertising. Messages are kept only as long as needed to manage the conversation. A business can ask us to stop at any time by replying STOP or writing to us, and we will remove the number from our contact list. Message delivery is handled by Meta Platforms as the WhatsApp provider, under WhatsApp’s own privacy terms.
