ZZetTool Hindi typing test

About this typing test

Who builds ZetTool, why it exists, and what it will never do.

Why I built this

In my family, people preparing for CPCT, court clerk rounds and data-entry posts were using pages full of pop-ups, fonts that broke mid-sentence, and “tests” that scored nothing like the real exam. Practising on those gives false confidence, because a generous score teaches you nothing.

So this is one typing test, scored the way government evaluations score: five keystrokes to a word, minus mistakes, with accuracy reported separately. Exam mode locks the backspace because the real test locks it.

What this site will not do

No sign-up, no app, no email field. Nothing you type is sent anywhere, which you can check by turning off your internet during a test.

No ads appear while a test is running. The site carries ordinary advertising elsewhere to cover hosting costs. If an ad ever interferes with the test, that is a bug and I want to hear about it at mirzanayab18@gmail.com.

Who builds it

I am an independent developer in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, and I build and maintain this site alone. Updates land when they are finished rather than on a schedule. Corrections and passage suggestions from users decide what gets worked on next, and several questions on the homepage FAQ came from messages people sent.

Reporting a problem

Use the contact page. If a passage has a broken matra, or your score disagrees with a hand calculation, send the passage text along with a screenshot, and that is usually enough to fix it.
