ZetTool is an informational website offering browser-based tools. We aim to collect as little personal information as possible. This policy explains information handled by the site, why it may be handled and your choices.
Calculator and tool inputs
Most calculator inputs are processed in your browser to display a result. ZetTool does not ask you to create an account for these tools. Please do not enter sensitive information into any tool unless it is necessary for your own calculation.
Online Notepad and local storage
If you save a note in the Online Notepad, it is stored in your browser’s local storage on that device. It is not sent to ZetTool by this feature. You can remove it by clearing the note or clearing the site’s browser storage.
Image Compressor
The Image Compressor processes the image you choose in your browser and provides a download link. The current version is designed so your image is not uploaded to ZetTool’s server. Do not use browser tools for sensitive files unless you understand the privacy implications of your device and browser.
Email contact
If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, email address and message. We use it to reply, investigate a reported issue or consider feedback. Please do not send passwords, payment information or highly sensitive personal information by email.
Cookies, analytics and future advertising
This version of ZetTool uses basic browser storage for the saved notepad feature. We do not currently describe any third-party advertising or analytics service as active on this page. If we add analytics, advertising (including Google AdSense), or other third-party services in the future, this policy and the Cookie Policy will be updated before or when those services are introduced, as applicable.

Our site may link to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Please review them before providing information to those services.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as ZetTool changes. The revision date above indicates the latest version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
